Hedge Trimming & Pruning

Clean, healthy hedges and shrubs — shaped at the right time of year, cleaned up completely.

A sharp hedge lifts a whole property; a butchered one takes years to recover. We trim and prune for shape and plant health — at the right time of year for the species — and take every scrap of green waste with us.

What's included

  • Formal hedge trimming and shaping
  • Shrub and small tree pruning
  • Rejuvenation pruning for the overgrown
  • Species-correct timing advice
  • Full green-waste removal

One-off or ongoing — how it works

One-off visits. One-off shapes and reductions restore overgrown hedges and shrubs, staged where a hard cut would stress the plant.

Recurring schedules. Regular light trims keep hedges dense, crisp and easy — the difference between maintaining a shape and repeatedly rescuing one.

At home. Home hedge care covers formal hedges, screening runs, topiary and fruit or feature tree pruning within safe reach.

Commercial & body corporate. Commercial sites get scheduled trims that maintain sightlines, path clearance and presentation without surprise regrowth.

A scope built for you. Every species has its season and limits; we'll build a per-hedge schedule so everything is cut when it should be.

Common questions

How often should hedges be trimmed?

Fast growers may want trimming several times over the warm months; slower species once or twice a year. Frequent light trims always beat occasional hard ones.

Can a badly overgrown hedge be saved?

Often — many species reshoot from hard pruning if it's staged and timed correctly. Some don't; we'll tell you which you have before cutting.

Do you remove the clippings?

Always — the job isn't finished until the site is cleaner than we found it.
